There are the five best ways to keep your ankara from fading.
- Don’t wash with detergent : use mild soap when washing with hands, instead of detergent. Detergent easily fade fabrics as they are very harsh.
- Wash ankara only when necessary: It is not good to wash this fabric often.
- Use Baking soda: stains are sometimes unavoidable. Try using baking soda that is not as harsh as bleach to get rid of stains on your ankara fabric.
- Hand wash your Ankara; wash with hands and not with washing machine if you wish to enjoy your fabric.
- Treat only areas that need to be cleaned; there just occasions whereby you just need to treat spots that needs to be cleaned.
