As soon as you get pregnant your body starts undergoing several changes and you may constantly wonder if what you’re experiencing is normal or it os something to be worried about. Changes occur all over your body, skin including scalp. These changes are mainly because of the changes in moisture and oil content of the scalp region, making it become dry.

Always tie your hair loosely: Avoid hairstyles that will be too tight, keep your hair style simple and comfortable.
Eat Healthily: As soon as you discover you are pregnant, eat for two as you are eating for yourself and the baby now. “The foods you eat should be very nutritious as nurturing a baby in your womb can cause nutrient deficiencies, a major cause of hair”. Eat more antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables to make your hair grow.
Oil your hair and scalp daily: “Oiling is a great way to nourish your scalp and hair”. Oil your hair with a little drop of castor oil and almond oil, gently massage it onto your scalp leave for 30 minutes and wash off with shampoo.
Use aloe vera: It’s no news that aloe vera gel soothes the scalp and treat any hair infection so use aloe vera for treating any hair issue you may be having.
Avoid using heat: Stay away from using hair straightener or hot blowers for your hair as it will damage your hair.
When combing your hair use wide mouth comb which will help reduce your hair from pulling out, also refrain from combing your hair while it is wet.
