Coined The Mother of the KenteKini and the DashiKini Swimwear Red is a mother of 9. Fashioning stage wear at age 8 in Philadelphia were she grew up at age 16 she moved to California where she designed choreographed and danced on tour for Alkebulan African Dance Troop.
Red went on to design for icons Buddy Miles, Ike Turner, Khalilah Ali and others for television, movies, and music videos.
At age 59 Red is Huffington Posts’ oldest “Bad Ass” Swim suit designers in 2016 with her new KenteKini and Dashikini styles.
