iFashy Fashion Limited ("iFashy", "we", "us") runs ifashy.com and the iFashy studio. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and when you commission work from the studio, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
Our other products have their own privacy policies. See the iFashy Academy Privacy Policy for the Academy. The iFashy fashion app and the iFashy Shop will publish theirs when they launch.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
Your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use these to answer you.
When you join a waitlist
Your email address, which waitlist you joined (the fashion app or the Shop), the role you choose if you give one (designer, student or other), the time you signed up and your IP address. We use these to tell you when the product launches. We use the IP address only to spot and block abuse.
When you commission the studio
The details we need to make and deliver your order: your name, phone number, email, delivery address, body measurements, design references and the payments you make to us.
When you browse the site
- Server logs. Like any website, ours is served through Cloudflare, which records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. These are used to run and protect the site.
- Rate limiting. When you send a form, we record your IP address for one hour to limit repeated submissions.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and device to tell people from bots.
ifashy.com does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your choice of light or dark theme, kept in your browser's local storage.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To answer you and handle your order: to take steps you have asked for and to perform our contract with you.
- To send you launch news from a waitlist: your consent, which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and the people who use it.
- To keep financial records: our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores waitlist sign-ups and runs Turnstile.
- Resend delivers contact-form and waitlist messages to our inbox.
Both may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows for cross-border transfers. We also share data when the law requires it, for example in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
- Waitlist sign-ups: until we have told you about the launch, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.
- Rate-limit records: one hour.
- Studio orders: for as long as you are a client, and order and payment records for as long as Nigerian law requires us to keep them.
Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to our using it;
- move your data to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it.
Email info@ifashy.com to use any of these rights. We will reply within the time the NDPA allows. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Studio orders for children are placed by a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
